What people ask on the first call
Should I talk to the police about my case?
No. You can decline to answer questions and ask for a lawyer. Call me before you give any statement.
My family member is in the Bexar County jail. What do I do?
Call or text me, evenings and weekends included. I’ll look up the charge, the bond amount and the court. Once I’m hired, I can visit your family member in jail, and if the bond is more than they can pay, ask the court to lower it.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Your first consultation is free and confidential.
How much does a criminal defense lawyer cost?
It depends on the charge and the county. Most cases are a flat fee, quoted at the free consultation, and payment plans are available.
